Made it to California with Marie. She pops a pill and sleeps the whole time on the first flight. I manage to get change to a seat with more leg room. The first row right after first class. Between flights Marie informs me that she hates flying. On the second flight I have the whole row of seats to my self. I manage to sleep for about twenty minutes. Two nice flights. The car that we get is a piece of crap and I will never use dollar again. We decide to have lunch on the way and I manage to find my favorite pub in redwood city. Marie even gave it her French stamp of approval. We get to Alex's house around four. It has incredible views but is extremely dated. Someone really liked wood.
